Julia is a senior lawyer at the Central Australian Women’s Legal Service. She first moved to Mpartnwe Alice Springs in 2015 and has practiced exclusively in the areas of family law, family violence, and child protection for almost 10 years. With CAWLS, Julia is currently co-ordinating the school lawyer program at Centralian Senior College and is also project lead for CAWLS’ Workplace Equality and Respect Project, aimed at responding to and preventing workplace sexual harassment and sex discrimination.
